Mailboxes

While it may not seem important, there is a mailbox standard within our association. In 2020, the decision was made to transition to a new mailbox, due to the existing vendor ceasing business and the original mailboxes would no longer be serviceable.

A committee was formed, and homeowners were given an opportunity to vote on the new mailbox. A transition time of 5 years was given to switch to the new one. If you sell your home, you must install the new one prior to finalizing the sale. There is a link below to the original notice.

Current specification:

• Vendors

  • Whitehall Products (Mailbox – Capital model)

  • Budget Mailboxes (Mailbox – Westwood model)

• Approved Colors

  • Box color: black, bronze, white, and green

  • Lettering: gold or silver.

• Street number must be included on side of mailbox

  • Note: only street number on side of mailbox, no street name

• Newspaper holder must be included.

• Top of post must be a ball.
